Jennifer Sarich-Harvey is an Interaction Designer at IDEO Boston. Trained in the Scandinavian approach to empathic and human-centered design, she is interested in the intersections between digital and physical experiences and creating compelling ways to communicate often complex systems, services and interfaces. While at IDEO, she has worked on technology strategies, product experiences, digital interfaces across industries ranging from healthcare, education, finance and pharma. She has also been deeply involved in IDEO’s Startup-in-Residence program, most recently leading a project with local Boston startup, PillPack.
Prior to IDEO, she worked with fashion startups and leading Canadian Interior Design celebrities in publishing and television to develop and deliver privately branded products, retail experiences and strategies across the
Hudson’s Bay Company and Canadian Tire retail chains. Jennifer sits on the advisory board of the School of Media Studies & Information Technology for Humber College in Toronto, Canada.
Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Interaction Design from Umeå Institute of Design in Sweden, an Industrial Design grounded education where she focused on human behaviour and emerging technologies; and a Bachelor’s degree in
Fashion Design with a specialisation in Apparel Design, Manufacturing and Textiles from Ryerson University in Toronto.
