The day culminated with the Startup World Cup Ottawa Regional Competition, where some of the region’s most promising startups pitched live for a share of the $50,000 prize pool and the opportunity to advance to the global finals in San Francisco.

Startup World Cup Ottawa Regional Competition

After a highly competitive showcase of innovation and entrepreneurship, Kavodax was named the Startup World Cup Ottawa Regional Champion. The company will now represent Ottawa on the global stage in San Francisco, competing against regional champions from around the world for a $1 million USD investment prize.

From bold ideas to global opportunity, Startup World Cup remains a powerful reminder that companies built here can compete anywhere.

The Startup World Cup is a series of global startup conferences and pitch competitions powered by Pegasus Tech Ventures, featuring 100+ regional events across 60+ countries. These events culminate in the 2026 Grand Finale hosted in San Francisco, where winning startups from each regional event will compete for a $1M prize on November 6, 2026.
